Effect of Flow Rate on Turbulence Dissipation Rate Distribution in a Multiphase Pump

چکیده

The turbulence dissipation will cause the increment of energy loss in multiphase pump and deteriorate performance. In order to research rate distribution characteristics pressurized unit pump, spiral axial flow type is researched numerically present study. This focused on directions inlet outlet, hub rim, circumferential direction rotating impeller blades. Numerical simulation based RANS (Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes equations) k-ω SST (Shear Stress Transport) model has been carried out. numerical method verified by comparing results with experimental data. Results show that regions large are mainly at outlet static impeller, while it almost zero from middle suction surface pressure first-stage increased gradually rim section decreased firstly then sections. distributes unevenly section. maximum value occurs 0.9 times rated rate, minimum 1.5 rate. Four turning points same as number blades occur 0.5 blade height condition. have studied carefully this paper, an important significance for improving performance theoretically.
